Did I mention that one of the people in the group is an aerobics instructor? Oiy.

Started the day with a walk though the Roman ruins at Glanum right near St. Remy. Then  looked at some sites nearby that were painted by Van Gogh. Each of the sites is marked  with a reproduction of the painting posted in front of the scene. One of them seems to  be wrong - it looks like the picture got flipped in the printing process. You can get  away with something like that in a book (who would know?) but it's pretty weird when  you're looking right at the scene.

Lovely ride to Eygalieres (lovely=flat) over backroads, through orchards and vineyards.  Past some bulls. These are the bulls that will run in the Bastille day celebration this  evening. This running of the bulls thing holds no appeal for me. We picnicked on the side  of a hill in a small town. More hills.

Wandered around St. Remy, totally exhausted but when I finally gave into a nap I was  afraid to let myself sleep because I didn't want to miss dinner. Dinner was a vegetarian  thing with the group.
