D'Orsay Museum Sculpture

In the D'Orsay museum. I'm struck by the amazing collection of Van Goghs, among them are some of his best known paintings. Also, the Renoirs. Is it possible that I missed these galleries the first time I was here? Naturally they're packed. And I'm short.

I'm blown away (again) by the museum's space - definitely among the best architectural spots I've seen for art.

Amazingly, after all that anxiety this has been remarkably easy so far. Once again,  worrying about the wrong things.

At around 2:30 in the afternoon I hit the wall. Felt like I might pass out but lots of water and a really strong coffee in the cafe at the museum changed that...

In the D'Orsay I kept running into a German fellow who seemed to think I was German as well - at least he addressed me in German. I responded in French.

Walked all over the Latin Quarter. A woman stopped and asked me for directions. This  seems to happen far too often - do I look like I know where I am? Stopped for dinner at a small Swedish place. My fourth meal of the day.
