Self-Defense Combinations

 

 

Combination #1

(Person attacking attacks with right punch to the face)

  1. Left foot steps slightly forward into wide fighting stance, right in-to-out outer knifehand block.
  2. Left foot steps into left front stance, right reverse ridgehand strike (striking the side of the neck with right forearm).
  3. (Grabbing shoulders with both hands) Pivoting on right foot, left foot swings 180 degrees counter-clockwise, throw attacker to the ground.

 

Combination #2

(Person attacking attacks with right punch to the face)

  1. (Squatting down with left foot slightly forward) Left upper block.
  2. Left foot steps into left front stance, right vertical ridgehand strike to groin.
  3. Right reverse palm-heel strike to chin.

 

Combination #3

(Person attacking attacks with right punch to the face)

  1. Left foot steps out into left front stance, right in-to-out parry block.
  2. (Grabbing attacker's right wrist with right hand) Left vertical punch to ear.
  3. (Taking half-step with right foot while placing left hand on attacker's shoulder) Bring left foot down on back of attacker's right knee, driving it to the ground.
  4. (Pulling attacker's head/hair back with left hand) right hammer fist to the nose.

 

Combination #4

(Person attacking attacks with right punch to the face)

  1. Left foot steps back into wide fighting stance, left in-to-out outer knifehand block.
  2. (Grabbing attacker's shoulders with both hands) Left pee-chuggy to inside of attacker's left knee.
  3. Left foot steps slightly forward into wide fighting stance, right reverse horizontal elbow strike to face.

 

Combination #5

(Person attacking attacks with right punch to the face)

  1. Left foot steps slightly forward into wide fighting stance, right in-to-out outer parry block.
  2. (Grabbing attacker's right wrist with right hand) Left palm-heel strike to attacker's right elbow.
  3. (Holding onto attacker's right wrist and elbow) Step inside with left foot, drive attacker's head into ground.
