Notes on the Electronic version of this Document

This document is an electronic version of my Masters thesis. Since this was a "project" thesis much of the document (see chapters 4 though 8) describes the design and evaluation of the multimedia software I produced. The first three chapters contain background material in both computer science and education theory.

I've tried to maintain an exact correspondence between the electronic version of this document and the final submitted hard copy. In some cases, most notably in the appendixes, I decided that such documentation was too cumbersome. Not to mention dead boring.
